Who can legally removal asbestos?

Only people who have received the correct Information , Instruction and Training can remove asbestos. In domestic properties, although there is no law against removing asbestos yourself , it is strongly advised that you do not do this unless you are trained. For tradesmen , Asbestos Awareness Training on it's own does not cover them to carry out the removal of asbestos in any form.

Does my house contain asbestos?

Asbestos was used as a building material in the UK widely up until 1999 , therefore if your house was built before 2000 it is best to get it checked by professionals. We can take samples of suspect material to determine if asbestos is present with our Asbestos Testing Service.
